Corsaro’s business career has been filled with numerous achievements and many accomplishments. His rise from stock boy to VP of Sales and Operations with an international manufacturing firm was epic. His hands-on experience and personal touch gave quick rise, leading quality, operations, and customer service. He designed a quality system and Kaizen program to improve the bottom line. He excelled in Product Management, Sales and Marketing, collaborating with international companies worldwide.
Corsaro took a Cleveland area manufacturing company that was unprofitable for many years and led his people to turn it into a profit machine in twelve months. His knowledge of the manufacturing process spurred him to invent several products, three of which he holds patents on. His international patent in machining was sold to a Swiss company with a worldwide operation. Along the way, he began to branch out writing articles and speaking on leadership.
Upon completion of his third book, this one on leadership, before the merger of Continental and United Airlines, he had a chance meeting that developed into a business relationship with legendary retired Continental Airlines Chainmen and CEO, Gordon Bethune who speared headed the most dramatic turnaround of the struggling airline within 18 months. This is recognized as one of the top 10 businesses turnarounds in history! Buthune highlights his actions in his best-selling book From Worst to First. While working with Corsaro, Mr. Bethune wrote the foreword to this book Leading People Beyond Expectation / Growing Your Company by Growing Your People.
